Q: How do you pronounce Nöje and what does it mean?
A: Our name is pronounced "No-yeh". Nöje is a Swedish word that means pleasure, joy, and happiness.
Q: Is shipping included?
A: Shipping is included for all orders over $30, and for all our subscription boxes. Yay!
Q: When does Nöje ship orders?
We ship our orders Monday-Wednesday to prevent chocolate from melting. For subscriptions, we will ship your first order right away, then subsequent orders will be shipped the second Monday of every month.
Q: Where will Nöje ship?
For now we're only shipping within the 50 U.S. states. We'd love to make our store available internationally, and we'll be sure to let you know if we do!
Q: Can I order ground coffee?
Here's the deal with coffee - as soon as you grind it the beans start to lose flavor and aroma. We only sell whole beans to preserve the flavor and freshness of your coffee.
Q: Can I customize my subscription?
Our site currently doesn't offer a way to customize what comes in your subscription box, but if you add notes to your checkout screen about what you like, we're super flexible about switching out products for you.
Q: How do I change or cancel my subscription? Can I skip a shipment?
A: Uh, why would you want to cancel? Do you dislike happiness? Well, OK, if you must change or end your subscription, or simply skip an order, our marketplace makes this easy to do while you're logged in to your account. Or, email us and we can help you with any changes. You can cancel your unpaid subscription at any time, and you may cancel prepaid subscriptions once your paid order expires.
Q: If I have food allergies or dietary restrictions, is it safe for me to order the Nöje subscription?
A: If you have specific food allergies or dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten free, hate coconut, etc.), add notes to your checkout screen letting us know. We will customize your order to ensure you never receive products you can't eat.
Q: Will my chocolate melt or break in transit? Can Nöje send a replacement if it does?
A: While we do what we can to keep your chocolate from melting and/or breaking, we cannot guarantee the chocolate will not break or melt slightly during transport. While breakage or a little melting will not alter the quality of the chocolate, your satisfaction is our priority and we'd be happy to send you a replacement.
Q: Do the products in your subscription box contain caffeine?
A: The coffees and some of the teas in our subscription will contain caffeine. Our Tea+Honey+Chocolate box does have a "decaf only" option if you prefer to avoid caffeine.
Q: Is there alcohol in your box?
A: Nope. After researching the (incredibly complicated) state laws regarding shipping alcohol, we decided to focus our attention on finding you the finest non-alcoholic foods & beverages.
